Lori grew up in Iowa in a family of 12 kids. She went to the University of Kansas and graduated with a degree in Theatre, Film and Video. Lori shot, edited and coordinated documentary and corporate videos in the Kansas City area. She served as coordinator of special events and development for the University of Kansas, Lied Performing Arts Center.
For the past seven years, Lori has been traversing the country with numerous road trips coast to coast. She was actively involved in consecutive art residencies and teaching workshops in Northern California at the Mendocino Art Center and was on staff at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson for several years. She received a Fellowship from the Virginia Center for Creative Arts and was awarded a Full Fellowship from the Vermont Studio Center in printmaking.
