From 2003-2005 Lori was actively involved in consecutive residencies and teaching workshops in Northern California at the Mendocino Art Center. She arrived in Vermont, July 2005 and was a resident staff artist and Admissions Coordinator at the Vermont Studio Center until October 2007. She was an artist in residence at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Amherst Virginia November - December 2007. Lori returned to the Vermont Studio Center as Travel Coordinator from May - September 2008.

Prior to opening her Lawrence, Kansas studio in 1995. Lori shot, edited and coordinated documentary and corporate videos for Sprint Visual Communcations Center, AVC Video Productions, the University of Kansas Alumni Association and Take Ten Productions. She served as coordinator of special events and development for the University of Kansas Lied Center, one of the nation's ten leading university performing arts presenters.
